We are pleased to announce our search for an Inventory Assistant to join us at Osborne Park, WA.

About your contributions

Each day you will contribute to the:

• processing of purchase orders based on the daily schedule
• actioning of purchase orders within 15 days or sooner
• accepting supplier deliveries, including unloading vehicles, checking off deliveries, breaking down supplier pallets, and scanning products into system
• maintenance of all credits and store transfers
• entering invoices and issuing receipt of stock
• completing paperwork and forwarding to Support Centre
• conduct regular cycle counts, gap counting and stock takes,
• support stock variance checks and maintenance of stock integrity with stock adjustment sheets reviewed and updated daily
• help maintain regular periodic stocks checks including date or batch control, and
• support the inventory manager in day to day tasks and supervision of team

About you

Having worked within a similar role, within a high - volume inventory and big box retail environment, you are familiar with the fundamentals of inventory management principles and systems used to monitor and manage inventory.

Your natural analytical mind ensures you are a real problem solver to ensure stock levels are maintained and processes run smoothly to meet changing customer demands.

You have an ability to identify logical solutions and innovative ways to enhance the efficiencies of inventory control. As an operator, you act with a sense of urgency to keep pace with a dynamic workload whilst delivering work to the highest standard of accuracy.
